Injinji Socks Giveaway
Looking for some great socks to go with your minimalist footwear? This week we have an amazing giveaway for Toe Salad members: 10 pairs of Injinji socks!
We will be giving away a pair of socks to two people every day this week. In order to be eligible to win on any particular day, this is what you need to do:
- Monday: Post a comment in the forum
- Tuesday: Post a photo in the directory
- Wednesday: Post a link in the directory
- Thursday: Post a review in the directory
- Friday: Leave a comment on this post and tell us one thing you like about Toe Salad, and one thing that you would like to see improved.
You can chose to participate on one or more days, it is completely up to you. Of course if you don't participate on a particular day, you won't be eligible for the giveaway on that day. The important thing to remember is that you have to do it on the day specified.

Great idea
I think this is a great idea and wanted to say thanks. Only suggestion would be around posting in the directory. I took a photo tonight that I was going to post, but now see I have to be an approved contributor first to post something in the directory. I submitted my info, but will likely be sound asleep before it's approved. Got to get up early to get my run in before work :).

You only have to be approved to add brands and models in the directory. Any registered user can post photos and links to existing brands/models.

I like the shoe reviews on Toesalad the most. The giveaways are pretty awesome too. Love the website, but it seems a bit slow going between links sometimes. I am IT person so I am not very forgiven on website speed. This would probably be a bandwidth limit with your host unless you are hosting it yourself, and I would totally understand the speed problem if that is the case. I would also not blame you for trying to save a bit of cash. Other then that keep up the Great!! work. - Richard McNeil

What I like about Toesalad is that I can find and share a lot of information on minimal shoes and barefooting. What I would like to see improved is the relation between the directory and the brands part in the forum. Sometimes it is a bit confusing where to put information. Maybe the brands part of the forum should move to the directory.
Minimal shoes are better, real barefoot is the best.
Other barefoot/minimal activities
Although I have come to love running since getting into the minimal scene I appreciate that toesalad is a place to talk about other activities such as backpacking. It is not specifically focused on running. Most of the time minimal footwear is directly associated with running.
I would like to see more people use this website. It would be nice if more of our customers (Unshoes) interacting and leaving feedback on our products. I also think that some kind of photo gallery would be cool too.

The first time I saw toe socks, like 6 months ago I wanted them. I've been looking for them ever since and can't seem to find them; in malls. While I'm writing this my feet are sweating. I wonder if they won't sweat with Injinji socks. Hook me up. Please.

I don't think toe socks will stop your foot sweating, but they will help wick sweat, especially between the toes.
I don't know much about availability where you are, but you can look up what stores stock them here: http://www.injinji.com/locator/ If you can't find anything close to where you live, there are all kinds of places that sell them online, also listed at that link.
