The Niesa is built like a moccasin with a thin, rubber-coated fabric sole and light weight mesh/nubuck uppers. The materials look to be very durable and the construction seems to be top-notch. I found that putting the shoe on was very comfortable right out of the box...
A favorite of mine, this shoe has a good fit, is very flexible, and great ground feel. The sole is very thin and the shoe is very light. I would say that the two biggest downsides to this shoe are the fact that it is not very water resistant, and that the sole doesn't hold up well to high abrasion. I think this shoe works especially well indoors or on softer terrain. If you are looking for a shoe for walking/running on pavement or concrete, then I would suggest something else. If you are looking for a shoe to wear at work, at the gym, or for other less abrasion-intensive activity, then this is a great option.
